User-centred design will also help you if you manage the website yourself. We can help you find quality designers and developers. The service leads to a design requirements document which increases the probability of a successful new site. We use tools such as card-sorting for deciding what to call things on the site, prototyping for early testing of the site, A/B testing to compare the new site with the old one; wireframes, blueprints and taxonomies (navigation structure) which the designers and developers can use to build the site.

Design Requirements

A document which designers and developers can use which includes wireframes (the layout of the template pages), user journeys (so that the developer knows how a web form should work), navigation structure (so everyone is using a consistent and findable navigation).

Prototyping

Paper prototying, simple document prototypes, animated prototypes and full html prototypes. Testing early designs can save big problems down the line.

Card Sorting

A great tool to find the best navigation structure for your site. We get real people to look at navigation items used on your website and see how they group them together and what they call those groups.

A/B Testing

Great to check and compare two designs and see which works best. This takes your current design and your new design and sees which is most effective in your site goals.
